- The routing problem for a 6-second video render — a job that takes minutes, returns by webhook, and produces a file that has to outlive the provider's retention window — is a different problem from routing a chat completion. Carrying both is the design decision INFRO is making.
- Where the margin comes from
- A text-only gateway competes on routing quality and platform features, because the inference price is roughly fixed. Media supply is bought differently, and that is where a real price difference is available to pass on — which is why our catalog is frontier-first across all four rather than deepest in one.
- Governance as a product, not a setting
- Roles that map to a directory, ceilings at four levels, allowlists that refuse before a request costs anything, and an audit trail an auditor will accept — built as the surface a platform team standardises a company on.
